Rainbow Colors

Someone very special to me and to our family sent this to me last week. It arrived on a day just when I needed it most...

Rainbow colors are there to remind us only HE can give calm through the storm and peace to the heart filled with rain.

*Feel free to post this comment if you wish, but I only sent it to you this way so you would have this encouragement immediately.

Dear Amy,

Just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you and wanted to share this little story...

Tonight, when I was rocking my youngest to bed and praying over her, I was overwhelmed with a spirit of gratefulness for her little soul. I thought of you, and how through your blogs, you have often encouraged others not to take their children for granted. I wanted to share this with you as a source of encouragement. God see's your pain and truly cares about all the moments, big and small, that you miss with Jeremy. He deeply cares and only wants to fill your wounded heart with the balm of His healing love. But truthfully, I immediately dismissed the idea of sharing any of this thinking maybe I was just being emotional in prayer; and would not want to make you feel sad.

A few minutes later, I was searching for extra toothpaste for my other girls, and what I did find, was our Jeremy's blue bracelet peeking out of a hiding spot right in my view. The catch is... honestly, I had not seen it for a long time, and thought one of my girls had accidentally misplaced it for good. But no, there it was, as a little sign that I was indeed suppose to share my little story with you...however insignificant; the Lord wanted you to hear it.

"In this you rejoice, though now for a little while you may have to suffer various trials, so that the genuineness of our faith, more precious than gold which though perishable is tested by fire, may redound to praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ." ~1 Peter 1:6-7

May the Lord uphold you with His strength this week; that He may carry you through any trials this week with His peace and wisdom.

Peace,
Kara
